Keith is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Personal Trainer, and the owner and founder of Colby Conditioning. Colby Conditioning and Keith’s team are dedicated to helping people from all walks of life to look, feel, move and perform more effectively, developing a healthy lifestyle and preventing disease. During his career as a coach Keith has quietly become a sought after expert through his “in the trenches” experience helping a wide variety of clients, including Olympic and professional athletes.

Keith is a firm believer that everyone can improve their quality of life by learning more about nutrition, exercise and how the body moves and functions. Keith conveys a nurturing and caring personality that helps clients feel at ease and comfortable in his presence. His enthusiasm for living can be seen in the way he runs his company, Colby Conditioning. Keith provides the most current and relevant information to his clientele and implements customized programs – for clients young or old, men or women, beginners or professionals.

Since 1996, Keith has been committed to achieving excellence in the fields of fitness coaching, injury reduction, movement, corrective exercise, holistic health, nutrition, and strength and conditioning. Keith’s unique, holistic approach has changed the lives of countless individuals, athletes, and peers. By treating the body as a whole system and reducing root causes that lead to injury or fitness challenges, Keith has successfully coached individuals and athletes to resolve their health, fitness, and performance challenges – even in cases where traditional approaches have failed.

journal-footerKeith’s life-long journey into the world of health and fitness began in high school when he first started training to prepare for competitive high school athletics while also working as a part time trainer at a local gym. His interests led him to Salem State College, where he achieved a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, graduating as a Dean’s List Honors student.

Keith remains committed to learning and exploring diverse training, rehab, movement, and nutrition related information, attending seminars and conferences, as well as through daily independent self-study and research. Through the years, Keith has been recognized by Men’s Journal as one of America’s Top 100 Trainers, Best Fitness Instructor, Readers Choice Awards, Newburyport, MA, and has been featured on the cover of the Boston Herald, as well as, many other publications.

Keith’s other areas of interest include music, sports, hiking, movies and travel.
